The cables need to match up to your devices and the panel.

So currently your pir's would have power and zone connections.

The keypad would have power and communication cables, just match them up both ends.

If possible I would mark up your cables where they go now, so you know which runs to the keypad and which runs to the bell, which runs to which zone and so on.

Then write down which colored core goes to which terminal, this should make it easier once you have swapped the panels over.

You need to look at the connections in the PIRs and contacts. You may have four wire or fsl (fully supervised loop) connections. If it's the latter, the resistors will be 4k7/2k2. I don't know what the Accenta uses - I am not that familiar with this model.

If the Accenta doesn't do FSL and you have resistors in your detectors, you'll need to remove them and connect it all up as 4-wire. See the sticky for more info.

The 9800 was a great little panel in its day. It even had plug-on connections for a RedCare STU. It's a shame that the keypads have got so expensive and hard to come by... :(
