In England PP is not required when adding roof windows to an existing dwelling. Does anyone know if the same applies in Scotland, which has it's own planning regulations.

As I understand it, from page 38 of this document:

You can fit roof windows provided that they do not enlarge the dwelling house and do not protrude more than 1 metre from the roof plane
