I've had this washer dryer for about 8 years and today I have the first problem with it ever. Took a load out and it was sodden, put it back in to spin and it wouldn't run the program. I took this load out and put another load in to wash normally and it started off as normal, can hear the water starting to go in but then it would just stop, it would then show the 'Spin' light and then a few minutes after that it would go straight to the 'End' Light.

I've cleaned the filter, checked the incoming water hoses - all OK, checked the outflow pipes - all clear, drum spins fine (no nasty noises etc - so not bearings). We are in a very hard water area but use calgon tablets regularly.

Can anyone shed anylight on what might be wrong and if I could repair it myself? Or is it not worth the bother with the age of the unit. Just seems like things aren't buil to last these days.

Could you let me know how I would replace these (and where I'd order these brushed from?). How much would something like this cost?
