Hi

Getting 8 x 6 apex shiplap shed installed

Is pressure treated timber ok for base - shed builder installing

Could go for concrete but cost is £250 v £57

I know there us advice here on installing concrete base and how easy it is to fit but I'm sure its not that easy, if you've never done it before!

Does anyone here have a shed installed on a timber treated base - & is it still standing

I would not use a timber as a shed base; lay some reinforced concrete fence gravel boards or 40mm concrete slabs on a compacted sand bed & sit your shed on top of those; I have had sheds up for over 20 years on such bases without any problems; I also cover the underside of the shed base with roofing felt.
