Shed Roof

Hi all

I am just about to felt my new shed
my supplier has given me under tile felt (1F)

it is a cold applied roof with adhesive between 2 underlay sheets

is under tile felt different than underlay?

it is sanded one side and like a mesh the other

plan was underlay...nailed...underlay glued....top sheet....glued

1f is underslating, not underlay. It won't glue well due to sand content.

i thought sand would go to bottom

but guess next layer would be sand to mesh

will be going back to supplier in morning

It will be, but 1f drops its sand because it has a rough weave surface. Normal underlay will bond a lot better.
