Hi

We have a MacAlpine shower trap ( 50mm water seal with an 85mm flange ). This is fitted to the stone tray from Just Trays which has a 50mm hole cast in the bottom of it.

The trap has a 40mm outlet which connects into a short run of 40mm pipe which runs at a gentle gradient to the 110mm soil stack.

What volume of water is this waste able or rated to handle ?

I take it that the 40mm pipe would never run at fully capacity ?

Cheers
