Sink

I put a new waste into my bathroom sink, but I'm not sure I lined up the overflow of the waste (i.e. just below the plughole) with the overflow of the basin itself.

Could this be why the sink is slow to drain ? Or have I got two problems (i.e. the overflow is no good and the pipe is partially blocked) ?

you dont need to line up the overflow it goes all the waw round the basin
would think blockage

The toilet and bath are fine, so it's probably in the bit of pipe betwen the sink and the main soil pipe.

not worth messing with renew it check the trap tho
