Hi folks
just fitted some lights in a loft, 3 fittings on one switch (2 way), one fitting on one way, the 3 fittings on the 2 way circuit have a very slight glow when switched off, the 3 core for the 2 way only runs along side another lighting cable for about 600mm so I can't see induced current being an issue, tested the switches to make sure the contact was breaking completely and they were fine, any ideas?
the LEDs are the GU10 type fittings, there are 7 on the circuit in question, 3 on two of the fittings, 1 on the other

edit: sorry folks, just read some other answers to this on earlier posts, sorted now!

Its normally due to capacitive coupling across the switch drop, if you play around with how you use the cores and how you wire the two way, you can see if you can mitigate the problem slightly - though probably just in the way that it only occurs when its switched off one way around and not the other (the problem is much reduced when there is an earth between unswitched and switched lines)

Check for open circuit cpcs and reversed polarity, the probalem is perfectly capacble of cropping up where neither fault exists, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't rule it out.

If no fault, then what i've done in the past is to put about 100n of mains rated capacitor across the fitting
