hi
can anyone help me find a solution to ? bespoke fire rated doors , 30minute , which can either be cut off on a slope ie top corner cutaway , or made to measure , and that will then fit into a doorway in the loft conversion that has part of the top of the door sloping into the eave / slope of the roof. we couldnt bring the doorway openings further into the centre of the roofspace because of large chimney breasts.we will need to fit a door on each side of a landing area - sorry - not really sure how to describe it any better.
thanks very much

if you cut out that much from a fire door then the door is comprimised, you can get the manufacturer to make the doors to your requirements.

You cannot get manufacturers to make non standard fire doors as each fire door as it leaves the factory needs to be certified and therefore tested as a fire door, this would be cost prohibitive for individual doors. The only option is to use a specific fire door blank which can be cut to suit on site. Note these are not standard fire doors that are trimmed to suit but start off as 8’ x 4’ fire rated panels that remain certified even when cut down to any shape provided the lippings are replaced.
