Soil stack access point... Move or remove?

Hi all. I am re doing the bathroom currently. I am moving the toilet to the adjacent wall, and I want to slim down the boxing in for the soil pipe. If the photo has attached properly, you'll see a soil access point sticking out the side of the stack... I assume that's what it is anyway.

This is right in the way. Now, I plan on cutting out the toilet branch anyway, and fitting a new one at a different angle, so I could simply cut higher up (easier to cut actually) and replace with a straight piece of pipe, or I could fit a new one facing the other way. I wouldn't be able to access it without destroying half the bathroom, but that was the case before...

Thoughts?

Thanks
