I live in a terraced barn conversion. The barn was converted in 2014 from a farm to a house. I have attached neighbours either side. I can hear quite a lot of sound through the adjoining walls and wondered if it is possible to further soundproof them. One wall is a very tall wall (is the main part of the barn and so would essentially be the wall of a bungalow and loft (if that make sense). The other is a standard one story wall.
I understand that as the barn was converted in 2004 to building regs standards that the sound proofing should already be pretty good. But I would like to improve it. Any ideas if this is possible and what the typical costs and work would be?
Thanks
