Hello all I'm hoping someone can help me.

I own a 2013 Ford Focus hatchback and had an issue occur yesterday.

The top hose out of the coolant tank was split and spraying coolant over the inside of the bonnet. The slice is about 2 inches long. After waiting for it to cool to assess the damage the hose pretty much split in two in my hand!

I took the hose out to get a part number but I can't find it online anywhere.

The part is CV61-8K012-WE

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement and if I do get a replacement is it some underlying issue that will cause it to split again?

Any help would be appreciated.

That doesn't sound like a Ford part number to me, more like a manufacturer's reference.
I'd replace the hose with a genuine Ford item, and ask the parts guy if there has been any issues with it. Presumably the car warranty has expired?
John :)

The part has FoMoCo on it..i thought that was a fords part manufacturer?

I'm pretty sure (but check with a dealer first) you have FINIS number 1810380, which according to here...

...has been superseded by a newer part number. In other words, Ford realised it kept breaking on peoples cars, so have re-designed the part. Check to see if your vehicle has been recalled, you might be able to get this fixed for free.

Gaz :)

You sir, are a legend..been looking for hours trying to find it only to find out its a Degas hose and i should have been informed about its recall.

Luck of the draw it occurred the Saturday evening of a bank holiday weekend but I'll be having a nice conversation with the service department of the dealership on Tuesday!
