Hi, we need to add two additional sockets to a radial circuit, we know that you cannot spur from a spur, are junction boxes acceptable? The radial is literally in a straight line running internally along a row of small storage units and we need to add sockets to the middle units, can anyone advise us please,

Many thanks

You can spur off a radial no problem as long as it is protected by the correct fuse/circuit breaker.
32A if wired in 4mm² (no more than 75m² floor area) 16A/20A if wired in 2.5mm² (no more than 50m² floor area)

You must use the same size cable for the spurs.

Make sure you are not going to overload the circuit by adding more load from the new sockets if the circuit is already heavily loaded

That is great thanks, this is the first time I've used this site, what a great resource, thanks again for speedy response
