My garden wall pointing is a bit slack in some points but relevantly solid for just a boundary wall. I prefer to avoid repointing and just cure the surface of the pointing. What can I use to stabilize the slack pointing?

Liquid water and cement mix?
PVA?
Exterior filler?
Tiles grout?
Other material or ready solutions?
Any tips?

that is my last option. It is a solid wall and i am going to paint over anyway. it is just the surface a bit loose and porous and I am not sure that I can properly paint it. I just want to make the pointing surface paintable in other words.

You need to rake it out and repoint. its clearly not what you wanted to hear but its the only thing that will last at all.

You could try painting it with sandtex stabilising solution but it wont last.

Trying to paint and repaint a wall with crumbling patches will be a hateful job

Thanks, I did repointing 40 meters of wall ang thought I have finished. I will repoint the last part.
