Hi,

I've read all the posts about leaks, but I have the opposite problem. Both turning on and rotating for hot/cold needs incredible strength. "Oil" helps for a few days only. Apart from methods for fixing the "innards", where can I look for the name of the manufacturer, is it similar to the situation with locks - might I be able to buy replacement brass/valve bit only as the outer main tap is almost new?

Thanks.

If the make isn't written on it you either have to recognise it to buy the bits, or take it apart and go on handyman's wit.

Thanks, I've taken it apart and the plastic mechanism and the seal that it sits on are fiished. I obviously need to replace them. There is a clue to the maker, the letter K followed by what looks like a "road narrows" sign. Any guide as to where to source parts would be great.

Thanks.
