Can someone tell me where is the cheapest place to buy storage heaters and what should i look out for when buying them. Have never had them before but would like to replace the really old large ones that i have. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. ;)

I would always go for Dimplex. They do some that look fairly smart now. They also have some 'intelegent' ones which also incorporate a panel heater.

Get your local wholesaler to quote you - they are usually dealers for at least one make of storage rad.

You may be suprised how much they do cost, even when discounted. It can often be cheaper to install cent heat than replace a house full!

You may be better off getting a price from an electrician to supply and fit, new heaters are fixed back to the wall and it is important they are fixed and fitted correctly. Also your old heaters may contain asbestos, so disposal may cause a few problems

Thanks for all your advise guys, will do the Google thing. But how would i go about finding my local wholesaler?

Go to the dimplex (or others) website and search for dealers.

Probably Wilts, Edmundsons, Neweys etc.
