Storm Porch - any ideas

I want to build a storm porch over a bay window which has a flat roof. Are there any websites showing me how to go about it?

start with a pair of suitably sized gallows brackets either side of the window.

these gallows can be the support for a spanning timber which will catch the low end of the rafters. the rafters will be birdsmouthed onto this timber.

a simple bearer plate can be bolted to the wall to deal with the high end of the rafter.

a hipped roof design is usually the most suitable over a single window..

Will the outer edge be supported by the front of the bay?
makes it easier if it is, but perhaps I'm missing something?
