Strip LED lighting in kitchen

Hi,

Im looking at putting some RGB strip lighting into the kitchen units. I would ideally like the same lighting colour to be at the top and bottom of the cabinets and use a single power supply ( that is capable of running the configuration ). Would the configuration in the diagram work. Is this the best way of achieving this. All together there will be around 6 meters of strip led's.
