Hi
Putting up a stud ceiling in my bathroom. The dimensions are 2400mm x 2300mm, what size timber should i use for this, it will be holding plasterboard. I was thinking of getting some 38x89x2400 stud work CLS timber, would this be sufficient, probably at 450 enters to accommodate the plasterboard easier

Will this ceiling being supporting any other load than the ceiling weight?
The centres would depend on the size plasterboard you are going to install.
450mm for 1800mm and 400mm for 2400mm
