suggested gap filler on skirting board

Hi,
I want to fill the small gap at the top of my skirting board without having to paint over it in white gloss. I just need to run a small bead around. Any suggestions on a suitable sealer that doesn't need painting.

White Decorators Caulk, apply bead and wipe off with damp sponge/cloth
