texcom premier 24 with 2400 com

thinking of adding a com2400 to my texcom premiere elite alarm

I just want the unit to sent a text message to a mobile if the alarms activated , but I don't want the unit to answer the phone if anyone dials in

is this possible with this unit , or should I be looking at something else?

I can see from the instruction books it can be programed to send texts , but want to be sure I can stop it answering incoming calls before I buy one

Why not ring Texecom tomorrow & ask them?

Yes. But most people use answer phone defeat it normally does not cause an issue.
