Tap 4321 and enter comand displays on the screen. Will not accept anything after that

Wheni i type in 4321 goes to unrest and displays time and date.

As this is a new system

type 1234 program, you should be in engineering mode

19 latching walk test, if the tamper is lit up press omit, the number displayed now will relate to where the tamper is coming from and not the zone number.

most common are 1 and 3, 1 being bell tamper or auxilary tamper (global tamper circuit).

3, being lid tamper, which would be panel lid or keypad lid if attached, the manual has a full list of all the tampers and its also on this forum somewhere.

I have carried out a continuity check on the tamper global circuit at the panel and comes up closed circuit (bleeps)

Could be possible issue with the bell. I have a lumina 8 bell box

Did you carry out the tamper id test, to find out where the panel says its coming from.

If 1 or B on Excel keypad, at the panel end link out the tamper to 0V, retest, does the tamper go away.

if the lid is off and you do the test does 1(bell or global) disappear and 3(lid tamper) appear.

The manual has the connections on page 12. Basically first 5 terminals.
