Texecom Veritas R8 Alarm

Hi
My brother in law has the above alarm and is starting to sound, he took a fuse out and it now sounds all the time the fuse is put back in. I have taken the box battery out to silence it, but I am having trouble resetting it, he is unsure as it was in the house before he bought it. I am in the process of chasing wires but it isn't set up normally can anyone help to reset, i Believe it is an anti tamper device i can't find.
