Hi

I'm just about to embark on the daunting task of decorating our hallway, stair and landing.
Although the house is reasonably new circa 2011 the wall need a filling and quite a lot of sanding to get them smooth and the frames seem to have been drenched in paint so with 9 door frames to sand its not an overnight job.

Now my mouse sander has just packed in so I am looking to replace it with something a little better that might be able to do the walls as well. I have a Bosch multi-tool which I've purchased a triangular accessory for sanding which should do the smaller tighter jobs but what type of sander do I need for the rest?

We also have the stair spindles and banister to do but I'm assuming that's a hand job!

Any help appreciated

I have an orbital Titan from screwfix at about £50 which I am happy with. Details are great but bugger doing a wall

I have used a Bosch orbital sander PEX12AE for many years and it's been brilliant. Last year, after 19 years use I had to replace the grip pad (not dear, and easy to do) but that only reflects the amount of use it's had!

You need a dry wall sander and vacuum for walls.

But something like Abranet mesh pads and hand sanding can be just as quick, easy, and less mess.
