The tamper light will not go off on my Wickes burglar alarm

I had a Wickes burglar alarm fitted by my previous owner some 10 years ago. It was alright until recently - the tamper light will not go off. I checked the wiring and it seems to be alright. The external box is ok, but I am not sure about the switch which is in the control pannel.
Can you help

what did you do recently? you did say "It was alright until recently "
