Hello guys,
I have read quite a few forum articles on the above and one person suggested using Plumbers Mate and trimming the excess off. I presume you would have a rubber washer between the underside nut and the ceramic and that you wouldn't apply to much force lest you crack the sink!!
Does this sound ok to all you plumbing guys out there OR is there a better way?
Thanks
Alex

Personally it would be a smear of silicone on the tap underside, and then a poly washer on the sink underside......if the taps came with plastic back nuts then hoy them in the bin and replace with brass ones.
Tighten the tap firmly - it mustn't be allowed to rotate from above.
John :)
