Tiling mess

Hi there,

I've removed some tiles i had put up a few days ago. they were put up on a plasterboard wall. what should i do now to prepare it for painting.

Any help would be grateful

What adhesive did you use?
And has the wall been skimmed?

I'm assuming it's had a skimmed coat of plaster. it's a new build. it was ready mixed stuff that's all I know. sorry, not much help.

You could use a steamer to soften the adhesive and scrap off, sand away any remaining little bits then make good with filler.

Be carful when working above the tiles as you don't want loads of water running down the back of them.
