I'm building a bit of a man cave in my barn. It has an existing opening which I'll use for a small window. It's too small for a full opening window, so I'll construct the frame myself and insert a made to measure unit in there. The problem I have is finding timber frame material anywhere, specifically a window sill....I'm not sure of the correct term here, but I mean the external one that has a rain drip underneath. I just can't locate any kind of mouldings at all. I was thinking it would be the same as door lining sets and come with the stops for the glass units etc. I know most people want UPVC these days, but I would rather not in this case.

I'm sure they're out there somewhere, but maybe I'm just using the wrong terms in my search.

Any advice where I could locate something would be really helpful! Thanks.

I used to get mine from magnet, they kept all sections - top rail and bottom rail even had the groove for a plant on head drip for top and cill for bottom

Thanks guys. EBay was something I looked at and I couldn't believe the price. Something like £25 for just over a mtr! I may as well make something up myself. I was hoping it could be picked up from a timber merchant. Cheers though.
