hi all,

have a 49 m2 (530 sq ft) driveway with no cracks or holes but is rather "rough" surface wise (see pic below).

from time to time i've had some professionals knock the door offering to do a "great seal job".

have researched & know i could do myself but i'm wondering is it a reasonably successful job or basically just a waste of time & money?

also does anyone know a rough cost per m2 to dig the whole thing up?

UK (belfast) resident.

cheers

You are prolly looking at £45p/m² to dig up and prep and £35p/m² to lay base and top coat (tarmac) finish.

The prep; i.e. dig up existing drive lay edgings, drainage, stone etc, could be done diy but if you opt for mack finish, get a pro' team in.

Beware ! ! - Proper professionals don't go around knocking on people's doors....... Did they call you "Boss" by any chance ? . :)

Are you plagued with Pike-ees over there as we are on the mainland?
