Toilet pan connector with basin connector

Just been reading the top tips at the top and saw this:

This idea would be perfect for me, and would save a bit of hassle.


I guess though that, that pan connector is supposed to go straight down into the floor?

Mine will be going out to the side so the basin connector will be on the side of the pan connector, which doesn't seem good to me, are they intended to be used on there side? Or can you get one with the basin connector further round so it would be on the top?

They work either on their side or straight down. Just fit an elbow to it if using it on the side
