Hello folk,
Hopefully a simple issue for you guys to help with and only plumbing on the loosest sense!
Have smartened up the downstairs loo with panelling instead of hideous old tiles and went to fix the old pan back to the floor which required holes to be drilled at an angle to suit the form of the pan but off set from originals by depth of panelling. Trouble is I've drilled in right place but a bit too steep and can't get fixings in. Maybe should have used old pan as a guide but was worried of damaging it!
Any suggestions on how to fix other than drilling out, filling and re-drilling? Was thinking a long but smaller no 10 screw would have a bit more "give" and adequate strength for the task? Would this be a bad idea or worth a shot?
Thanks
Jon
