Hi there,
I have nearly finished tiling a hipped roof with concrete plain tiles. According to some info I found from a Marley Eternit guide, the top course of half tiles should be clipped with a stainless steel spring clip (code:30332). I haven't managed to find these. As the course of half tiles just sit on the secured full tiles, I don't think it would be a good idea to just leave them resting there. Can you help? The ridge will be covered with a 'baby' ridge tile. The roof is a porch roof and the span of the ridge is only short, approx. 0.5m.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thx

Bang a batten onto the ridge board and fix the eaves/top tile course to the batten.
