Top quality paint for a timber garden gate

Hi,

I'm currently fitting a new timber gate for my garden. The wood is pre treated but I would like to paint it with a shiny or satin type paint. Can anyone recommend the best paint for this job? I've used a Sikkens paint to paint my cast iron guttering last summer and the results are amazing, would Sikkens be recommended for painting freshly treated timber too?
