After having created new window opening in cavity wall (blockwork interior wall and brick exterior wall), a fair bit of cavity insulation has escaped.
It's the blown type that's like shredded paper or something similar.
Wondering what's the best insulation to to add into the cavity with before fitting cavity closers...
Don't think I can use the same stuff that's already in there, as how would it stay in there prior to fitting the closers.
Stuff some loft insulation from a roll in there? Seems like the best idea, but would it perform as well?
I guess other alternatives are push in some celotex boards, or use expanding foam...
