Help pleease...

I'm building a treehouse, which I plan to use as a home office/ playroom and I'm wondering how/ whether to insulate the roof and also get the breather/ vapour check membranes etc right...

the roof so far is t&g boards directly onto the beams/ rafters and will be finished with cedar shingles. the bit inbetween is what is worrying me. I want to be able to see the t&g boards and rafters, so any membranes or insulation will have to go between the t&G and the shingles. I was thinking of the order going: t&g, breather membrane, cross batten, small gap, foil backed celotex insulation, batten, then shingles, or maybe just skip the insulation and go: t&g, breather, cross batten, batten, shingles??

what do you suggest?? I'm aware its all a bit back to front but thats how it is!!
