I have done some building work at my fathers house.
Part of which involved removing a radiator on the ground floor.
The heating system is plumbed for ground floor and first floor.
The boiler is in the cellar.
I replaced the radiator and bled this one radiator.
Power to the boiler, power light on.
Nothing happened.
Pressed restart? button on top of unit on left, light on RHS panel lit.
Bad smell (electrical) from this unit.
Disconnected.
Unit was working OK prior to removing radiator.
Heating hasnt been used for 6 weeks.
My father had this problem a few years ago, called central heating engineer, replaced pump.
However I dont think this was the problem then or now.
Please has someone got any suggestions.
Many thanks
Richard
