im in a new house and going through various things to do with my brother and told him im taking the chimney down from roof level to kitchen where the chimney acts as a outlet for a floor standing mexico boiler (it has a liner). he looks at the roof from the garden and suggests using a skylight/velux instead of tiles where the chimney used to be
glancing through the screwfix january deals and i sere a tyrem skylight in wood for £95 , would this brand be ok or would i be better off wiyh a upvc piece of kit like a velux say
also whats the deal about this skylight is suitable for uninhibated attic rooms. do you need something different if you intend to convert the loft to living accommadation
