Underfloor Heating Pump

Hi,

I have this pump on my underfloor heating system.

It has been off most of the summer and now turned back on again. The pump is trying to kick on but seems to not be able to get going.

Is there a little trick to get it going.

The pump gets very hot so I am afraid it will overheat.

Its probably seized. That's what they do during summer when not in use.
Make sure the impellor is spinning freely.

Thanks - but to me the pump is just a piece of metal that makes noise.

Any suggestions on how I can get it going.
