untreated or pressure treated wood in loft space?

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I can't find the answer anywhere.

Obviously you have to use pressure-treated wood under the ground floor, as its old and damp. How about in a cold ventilated loft? I always thought that as you get a lot of airflow, which would remove damp air, regular untreated wood shoul be suitable for use in the loft. But would it be better to use pressure-treated wood in the loft?

In theory the roof should be well ventilated however there is always the possibility of vents etc being blocked up or removed by naive owners/builders and leaks can occur also leading to wood getting saturated for long periods of time before discovery. If its a new roof then it has a fair chance of getting wet during construction too.
