I have a problem with unwanted mushroom looking things growing on my lawn. A couple of weeks ago I just pulled them out from as far down as I could but they've now sprouted again, more so after all the rain we had at the back end of last week.

Any idea how I can control them or permanently remove them?
I've attached a couple of images.

    Thanks in advance.

There will be something nice and tasty for them slowly rotting under the lawn. Short of digging it all up and probably not finding the food source, I'd say just whip them off whenever they grow. They'll be gone soon enough.

I had a tree removed from that location a couple of years ago so sounds like you're right. Thanks.
