Can someone tell me if this is correct as it does not ring true with me?
I have had a upvc door fitted in the kitchen, when it rains water obviously runs from the door onto the laminate floor. I asked the installer why they no longer put weather boards on them he says: The door has drain holes in the bottom which allows the water to drain from the door into the lower drain cill thit allows the water to flow out. He says the door would otherwise fill with water. surely this is incorrect because holes in the bottom of the door would make the insulation of no effect. XCan someone tell me the truth please as I can't feel any outlets in the bottom of the door.
