Urgent: Glow-worm Space-saver Mk 11

Urgent: I am arranging to have the boiler removed and replaced with a worcester combi. There are five pipes coming out of existing glow-worm, one is gas pipe what will the other four be and how can I tell which are for radiator and which are for hot water?

If your installer does not know then find another who is competent!!

1 is a heating flow 2 heating return 3 hot water circ flow 4 hot water circ return . top pipes are the flows .If you have a fully pumped system a pipe might be a cold feed from header tank to boiler .Have you got a mzv and pump or just a pump

If you cut them all with an angle grinder, the one that keeps stinking is the gas and the one that keeps spouting water is…… the mains water. The 2 that leak, but stop dripping after a while are for the rads. The last one is the dhw
WARNING!!
Though this method will give you undeniable proof, it is unsafe and does not comply with HSE guidelines. In fact, you would be risking serious injury or worse. Best leave it to your RGI to figure it out
 
If 2 of the pipes are 22mm and 2 are 28mm then you want the 22mm ones.
