I have an old property where it is difficult to conceal pipework. I want to add a radiator which will mean tee-ing into the existing 15mm flow and return pipes, but I want to use microbore copper tube (10 or 8 mm preferably) instead of 15mm, as it will be less visible running along the top of the skirting board. I have seen this done elsewhere but before I do it myself, is it likely to work properly ? The radiators is about 3883 btu, so not very large. The rest of the house is the normal 22 mm asnd 15 mm pipework.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks.
