I have a vaillant ecotec pro28. The error code f29 flashed up I reset the boiler and worked fine for a couple of hours. This process carries on all the time. I've spoke to vaillant technical they told me to check gas pressures and the earthing and everythings ok. I have now noticed that the spark electrode is constantly sparking even though no heat or hot water is being called for.

Has anyone else come across this problem? Please help

where does the white condense pipe go to ? this could be blocked

It's only 2 meters long running diagonal to the drain outside. A blocked condensate wouldn't keep the spark electrode sparking though would it?

I had this fault a few weeks ago very strange not seen it before but changing the pcb was the only solution it was a warranty call 18 month old , I stood an watched it , clock was off no hw demand but a weak spark constantly .
