hi,

i was called out to inspect a faulty boiler, because the water doent get very hot . Anyway now there is no hot water at all.

on this display the green light is flashing, which i believe is to show the hot water tap is open. However even when no tap is open the green light still is flashing.

i spoke to vaillant who suggested is could be a sensor on the domestic heat exchanger that has 1 orange wire going to it, and if not that then the pcb.

Im not too keen on taking a risk and spending money unnecessarily on pcb's

Has anyone got any ideas on how to be certain wat the problem is. thanks

I dont think you should be trying to repair boilers if you dont have reasonably developed skills at diagnosing faults.

Surely before posting here you could have measured the sensors as a very first step?
