Vaillant Turbomax Pro 28/2E - flashing ignition indicator ?

Hi all,

This is my friends boiler - so will try to explain his problem.

When switched on and DHW and DCH both switched on and tap opened all the lights light up and stay on. After a while the flame indicator and fan operation indicator lights go out and the ignition indicator flashes.

When the DCH is turned off and a hot tap opened hot water flows for a while then the same failure as above.

The pressure in the system is 1.5 bar and he has bled any air from the radiators.

This has probably happened to someone on the forum before so any advice would be appreciated.
