valliant turbomax 824e

hi i need your help
i have a valliant turbomax 824e
when i run the hot water the temp reaches 76 after a few seconds the flame decreases and the temp drops to 70 giving me only warm water.
i have checked the diverter and replaced it there was a problem with that as ch was not heating
i also have cleaned the heat exchager which i belive looks like a large can.
it was full of crap.
after this i got 1 more degrees out of it
but when i run 1 tap i get warm water but if i run a second hot taptogether the temp increase slightly to 80 but the water does not feel really hot but the dial does show 80.

any advice would be gracefully recived

i cleaned it with citric acid (ANDREW AND ENO) it fizzed away took me a hour or so. thats the seconary heat exchanger.
