I live in a typical victorian red brick semi terraced house around 130 years old. When I go into the loft there seems to be fallen mortar and crumbled slate but no damage to the tiles. I know they are old and need replacing but it's out of the question at the moment as I can't afford it. One tile has broken and will let water in at the next downpour. I think it is these darn high winds that are doing it.

What cost should I be looking at for replacing the tile ?

Thanks

Companies normally have a minimum call out fee where they will have a set price for a call out regardless whether its 1 or 10..it still takes the same time to travel to the job and set up etc.

You may get cheaper if you shop around.

Best look for a one man handyman person who does this type of thing.
