Visonic PowerMax GSM350 Installation problems

Hi All

i am new to this forum so hope it can help me, and in turn I hope i can help others

My problem is this: I bought a GSM350 module last week and am having trouble with the installation.

i have installed it into a PowerMax Complete panel exactly as described in the installation leaflet. I have then connected the battery and ac power and run diagnostics, eg GPRS Conn. Test, and I get an error message saying 'Ip not defined'. If i run the same test with no SIM card in the error message reads SIM card fail, and before I put a PIN code into the syatem, it read PIN code fail. I am puzzled by this. Can you please offer some guidance
