Vivaro engine cut out but only when cold !?!?

hi all, my 2003 vivaro 1.9tdi cuts out when cold. When the engine is up to temperature it won't cut out at all. I've read lots of threads about this but can't find nothing about being ok when up to temperature. It only cuts out on cold idle but not when hot. I don't mind sitting in the van with my foot on the accelerator a little it till warm but would like to know the fault !? Thanks, David

May be worth starting with a fuel filter change, have a look for any unusual particles in the bowl when removed as they do have issues with the in tank pumps.
Sounds very much like its pulling air in though, does it have a priming bulb on the fuel system?

I've found the issue. It was the fuel pump !. It's not replaced yet but with having a full tank of fuel the pump in the morning isn't having an issue pumping the fuel through. Only happens when I have so little fuel in the tank and with it being really cold just now the fuel is thinker but with being a full tank it's not to think so quick. Cheers.
